So early in its life, BLO has its own spinoff comic, hosted by the talented Lindsaythegreat. This is my friend Lindsay at school. See, what happens, is I bring in the pages of BLO to show her because she enjoys it, and she looks at the pictures and as she's reading, ends up putting in her own dialogue.

I laugh hysterically.
So she decided to actually take the pages of my comic (with my permission and encouragement) and rewrite them completely. The comic is called Boys like Orchids REMIX but in no way, shape, or form is it anything like "Gravitation remix".

ALSO! We have ANOTHER spinoff, done by other friend Thatnaminegirl, Lauren. We came up with the ridiculous idea of a group of weird fans stalking the characters of various comics trying to mess with t hem, but always falling short of actually interacting with them. The comic is aptly named "Boys have stalkers". There are no pages yet.

I will soon be working on a collaboration comic with co-authors lindsaythegreat and (possibly) BondageEmpire! It involves a chimneysweep.

Meet Shiloh. He's a 13-year-old chimney sweep who lives in an alleyway empire and makes his money however he can. Sweeping chimneys, selling himself to rich widows, murdering wealthy aristocrats... So the last one isn't so ordinary. The poor, ashy orphan doesn't really care where money comes from, as long as it comes somehow. His sister's life depends on it.

While Shiloh leads the street rats of 1880's England with a live rat in his pocket, rumors swarm wherever he steps, whether it's about his soot-black hair and eyes like the midnight sky, or about his nighttime howling on the rooftops. But though he's seen only as a tool for sweeping chimneys or an object of fantasy by those who solicit his services, starving artist Sage Gallagher knows he's found his muse when the pretty urchin murders his ungrateful fiancee.

May contain shonen-ai, mild sexual references, dismemberment, and copious amounts of chimney soot.

I've devided I hate deviantart. Is it that big a deal to keep things the way they were before? Now I gotta have a SUBSCRIPTION to get critique? Therefore, I have decided to move all my good art that you guys like to a better place. I will instead be putting it up on its own 'comic' site on Smackjeeves. That also means I'm taking down all the filler paintings from BLO (the ones I put up out of laziness and disability) and putting them up on the new site.

I will also use that site as my central hub to keep updates on all comics and upcoming works, and even my current favorites and recent finds on smackjeeves, so keep posted!

It's a BIRTHDAY PRESENT <3
As few to none of you know, Mag's birthday is coming up real soon!
April 16 marks Mag's fifth birthday. Ah, how long ago it seems that I created him as a ploy for attention on Neopets... what a loser I was. ^^
Come to think of it, I remember naming him Mag because at the time I was obsessed with the game Evolution. o_O

Oh well.

So, everyone, I made a nice little painting to commemorate Mag's birthday, on April 16. Feel free to wish him a happy birthday. Or not.

I'd like to thank the academy for... oh, what? What's this, you ask? Well, aside from the newest revamp of the BLO site (which is now permament and I'm working on a really really nice banner for the top), BLO is now in the top 30 most popular comics.

For any of you who look through the most popular comics, please take note that there are over 160 pages of comics in order of number of fans. Now, BLO may only have 45 fans so far, but that still puts me on page 30 of those 160+ pages! (that's a big deal ^^)

I'm really happy that I've achieved this... and one day maybe I'll get into the top 10! :D
